Hello, I'm Anne.
I'm a happy mother, wife, journalist and author on Long Island. I write about family, feminism, politics and the economic life of New York City. When my husband was a teenager, a Filipino fortuneteller told him that his small, curved nose was a predictor of the prosperity he would have in life. Given our middle-class existence, we've decided that the fortuneteller must have meant that he (and we) would be rich not in cash but in family. And we are. I plan to record that very cool and blessed situation on this site, along with links to my past work, as well as some current thoughts on the world around us. Please stay tuned, and stay in touch. |
